Giorgio Tuscani - Artist Statement

The techniques in my paintings are many, but the one subject matter that I most intrigues me is the Soul. What is more beautiful and complex at the same time than the human body which houses your Soul? So, the majority of my paintings will be that of the human body.

The geniuses that have influenced my techniques are the old masters themselves such as Da Vinci, Rubens, Titian, and Caravaggio.

I will only listen to classical music when I paint. Most importantly, I have to be in the right frame of mind to paint. Everything that I hear, see, or do while my painting is in progress will come out on the canvas sitting in front of me. The energy must be a positive one. I have to stop thinking in order to start creating.

Giorgio Tuscani

Giorgio Tuscani was born on December 18th 1972.
Mr. Tuscani has always had a love for drawing and painting, and has always felt compelled to be an artist and to create. For the past 12 years he has created murals, frescoes and privately commissioned artwork. Mr. Tuscani recently opened his art to the public in his first private, one-man show at Pallazzo Di Songi, in Studio City, California. The show was a complete success, with over three hundred people in attendance and a completely sold out show. Mr Tuscani quotes," We are all artists...our thoughts are the paintbrushes and tomorrow is our blank canvas. So let’s start creating a beautiful painting today for all to enjoy tomorrow!"

Giorgio Tuscani News

/24-7PressRelease/ - BEVERLY HILLS, CA, February 16, 2008 - Mr. Nick Chavez, the famous stylist, model, actor, entrepreneur/owner of Nick Chavez Beverly Hills and Fine Art Collector has purchased a Giorgio Tuscani original painting "Only One Illuminates My Soul III" for $75,000.

Mr. Tuscani is very pleased his work has been able to attract such an astute collector and prominent individual. This sale comes on the heels of his first public art exhibit at Pallazzo Di Songi and the value of his work has been steadily increasing.
Mr. Tuscani's stunning imagery is helping to usher in a "New Renaissance" and showcases a talent honed over years of heartfelt painting. Although he is hesitant to part with his original works, Mr. Chavez is a persuasive suitor and in this case Mr. Tuscani felt his art had found a worthwhile home.
